Deleting your EleVyo account
For the EleVyo mobile app (com.elevyo.app). Two ways to do it, and what happens either way.
If you still have the app
Open Settings and tap Delete My Account. It takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period and no undo, so be sure before you confirm.
If you have already uninstalled it
Email hello@elevyox.com from the address you signed up with — that is how we know the request is yours — and say you want your account deleted. We do not ask for a reason. You will get a confirmation once it is done.
What gets deleted
Everything that identifies you or describes your situation: your email address and sign-in record, your name, age, gender and location, your education and employment history including your employer's name, every financial figure you entered — salary, bonus, savings, expenses, investments, property, debts, net worth — and every snapshot of them over time. Also your goals, your logged progress, anything parsed from a résumé you uploaded, and your notification token.
What survives, and why
If you contributed something to the community — a note that a particular move worked for you — that contribution stays, with the connection to you destroyed. The link to your account is removed and any text you wrote alongside it is cleared, leaving a banded, anonymous data point: someone in a given age and industry band saw a given change. There is no way to trace it back to you, by us or anyone else.
This is the one thing deletion does not remove, and it is worth saying plainly rather than burying: it is what keeps the comparisons honest for everyone still using the app, and it cannot be reconnected to a person once the account is gone. If you would rather it were removed as well, say so in your email and we will do that too.
The full policy
What we collect while your account is open, and who it reaches, is in the EleVyo app privacy policy.
